Californians reminded of danger to come (AP)

Trade Secret store manager Ava Smoldt closed her store to clean up beauty supplies that fell for shelves the day after a 5.6 magnitude earthquake in San Jose, Calif., on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007. The moderate temblor struck shortly after 8 p.m., on Tuesday about 9 miles northeast of San Jose, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
